Bio

Marty Foster has been playing and competing in golf for more than three decades. He began his golf career in Long Beach, California, in 1989 before returning to Northern California in 1992, where he went on to compete on professional mini-tours throughout the West Coast, as well as the North Florida PGA Winter Tour, Space Coast Tour, Las Vegas Silver Tour, and Canadian Q-School.
 

Foster has competed in more than 100 professional events and recorded four professional victories. From 2004–2006, he was a player and coach for the East Bay Power in the National Golf League, helping lead the team to a North Cup championship. During that same period, he was consistently among the top point winners in the Northern California PGA Associates and was a finalist in the NCPGA Match Play Championship.
 

His competitive career includes a cut made at the 2010 Monterey Open at age 48 and a sixth-place finish in the 2012 Northern California Senior Open.

Today, Marty brings that extensive competitive experience to coaching, with a particular passion for helping young golfers develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. One standout success has been Taylor Moya, a six-time US Kids Golf Tour winner who went on to finish 37th at the US Kids Golf World Championship at Pinehurst, North Carolina.
 

Whether working with a young player learning the fundamentals or an experienced golfer looking to take their game to the next level, Marty combines decades of competitive experience with a genuine passion for helping golfers improve.
